Strolls
Botanical Trail - San Ghjuvanni di Moriani
A long time ago, a train was going through the region of Costa Verde…. But since June 2018, the old railways have been converted into a brand new walking and cycling path! This circuit offers a safe and recreational path, connecting the towns of Moriani-Plage and Prunete, with a 6 km-long circuit away from the RT10 road and motorists! Departing from the Padulella Park, this path is accessible to pedestrians, hikers, cyclists, horse riders… Enjoy!
Padulella Park, located south of Moriani, is a special place for relaxation and strolls or to exercise. It contains several playgrounds and a 1km-fitness circuit with apparatus, in a shady bucolic setting with a lovely pond. During summer, numerous cultural events take place in the outdoor theater!
Are you tempted by a stroll inside a fragrant and green nature? Take a walk on the Coast Road, which crosses 14 typical Corsican villages. Discover churches, fountains and traditional houses, and enjoy panoramic and breath-taking points of view on the coastline. Behind a curve, situated between two tunnels, you will admire the Ucelluline Falls: make the most of its crystalline water by going for a dip! Enjoy discovering our area through bracing strolls.
Casinca’s canals, dated from the twenties, define the character of this area’s coastline. Linking the ground to the sea, paths parallel to canals serve as pleasurable walking tracks, usable in all seasons. This shore offers a huge variety of landscapes, characterised by several wet areas, dunes, maquis, alders, oak-trees, poplars, willows, as well as junipers with big berries. We can also find here numerous grazed fields with bovines and ewes, or some market gardening, because of the establishment of agricultural activity. Pedestrian trails offer many possibilities to discover canals, as well as their emblematic fauna and flora. Go and discover the Golo’s mouth, the Cap Sud beach, the Mucchiatana site, the Pinarello beach and its eucalyptus, the Anghione beach, or the San Pelegrino beach and its tower.
