Located upstream from the Casacconi valley, this village is composed of several hamlets with an average elevation of 570 metres above sea-level. Crossing by numerous streams, the vegetation is dense and dominated by chestnut trees. Constructions, built on the side of the Rock of Compoli, are mostly old and some beautiful houses of public figures are remarkable.
