I Prunelli di Casacconi

Standing at an average altitude of 270 metres, in the middle of orchards and wild vegetation, Prunelli di Casacconi offers a superb view on the Golu valley. The village is constituted of old beautiful high houses and some vaulted passages. Originally, the village was at one with Olmo, and we can still find a footpath which links the two villages. Every year on Good Friday, a procession takes place between them: the cortege follows this path, starting from one of the villages and alternating from one year to the next.
