Crucichja


At 600 meters in height in front of the Mount San Petrone, the village is part of Alto di Casacconi canton. Constituted of 6 hamlets, it was built on a rocky ridge and overlooks the whole valley. Crucichja is a medieval village in which buildings are composed of shale houses with slate roofs stuck next to each other along the ridge.

To discover
- The baroque church of Annunziata, dating back to the late-16th or early-17th century, and its painting «Santa Manza» wich would be the original.
- Sant'Andria church, dating from the mid Middle-Ages and situated in the hamlet of the same name.
- The chapel A Madonna di i Sette Dulori, built in the place called Casanile in the early 18th century.
- Several tower-houses and manor houses.
