Loretu di Casinca

Like an eagle's nest overlooking the plain and the sea, at the foot of Mount Sant'Anghjulu, this village has a magnificent panoramic view. An earthenware viewpoint indicator has been placed under the church's bell tower, in order to locate the surroundings. The village square and its main street lined with green slate houses lead to the impressive church of Sant'Andria. Not far stands a monumental fountain: the most imposing one of Corsica!

To discover
- A Tozza, the 15-metres high monolith leaning back against the bell tower.
- The baroque church of Sant'Andria, dating from the 18th century and listed as historical monument, which contains several paintings.
- The A Funtanona fountain, at the entrance of the village, built in the 19th century and composed of schist and rubble stones.
