The village is divided into 4 hamlets, each one with its own chapel. Below the hamlet of Quercetu, we can discover the Pardina spring, which made the valley famous. This water, reminiscent of Orezza water for its diuretic and draining qualities, is said to have been sent to Indochina. Note that Valle d'Alisgiani is an integral part of the Corsican Regional Nature Reserve, and is classified at the ZNIEFF Inventory: 'châtaigneraies - petite Castagniccia' (chestnut groves of Castagniccia).
