L'Ortale
The village peacefully displays its historic streets and lets see old manor houses, a vaulted fountain, and ruins of an old water mill. Note that Ortale is an integral part of the Corsican Regional Nature Reserve, and is classified at the ZNIEFF Inventory: 'châtaigneraies - petite Castagniccia' (chestnut groves of Castagniccia).
