Cervioni

This village is located 350m above sea level and extends to Prunete beach. Steeped in history, Cervioni welcomed two important figures of Corsican history: Theodor von Neuhoff aka Theodore of Corsica, baron and King of Corsica in 1736 who made Cervioni the capital of the Island; and Alexandre Sauli, bishop of Aleria who established the bishopric seat in Cervioni.
