This village of Tavagna area is divided into 2 authentical hamlets: Peru and Casevechje, situated at 460m above sea level. Like a real balcony overlooking the sea at the foot of the Monte di Tagliu in a lush chestnut grove, the village is boasting remarkable architecture made up of beautiful 18th century buildings. It's the native village of Angelo Mariani, the inventor of a wine made from coca extract: drinks that inspired the famous Coca-Cola.
