Tagliu è Isulaccia


Tagliu and Isulaccia are two hamlets facing each other high in the foothills of Tavagna. The village is widely known in Corsica for beeing the birthplace of the island group I Muvrini. This place is also attractive for its rich cultural heritage, as well as its lovely chapels and churches. On the road leading to the sea, discover the Galea Park with its botanical gardens and showrooms about the Mediterranean culture.

- The Baroque church of San Michele dating from the 18th century.
- San Mamilianu church from the 18th century and its paintings «La Vierge allaitant» (1682) and «La Vierge du Rosaire» (1760). Its 38 metres-bell-tower is one of the highest of Corsica.
