Munacia d'Orezza is part of the Regional Nature Reserve of Corsica, situated in the area of Orezza in the heart of Castagniccia. At 600m above sea level, the village is composed of five hamlets:  Picchiaracce, Teghia, Gallico, Casanova and Osto. In the square, the isolated bell tower is a feature of the whole region.

To discover
- The bell tower of San Mamilianu church, dominating the whole valley of Orezza.
- San Bertuli chapel, built at 1074m in heights and offering great views. Its only reachable on foot, at 1hour from the village square.
