A Verdese

Verdese is built on a crest in the heart of Castagniccia, and offers a breathtaking view on the nearby villages and the mountains. The village is surrounded by a lush nature with chestnuts and rivers, and has an important built heritage typical of the area.

- The Baroque church of San Sebastianu and its bell tower, said to have been built in 140 days by the local inhabitants.
- San Pancraziu chapel, built in the 13th century below the village.
- San Niculaiu chapel, dating from the 13th century and located on the graveyard. Its style is a mix of Romanesque and Baroque arts.
