Pianu is located on a headland at 680m in heights, in the heart of the wild and preserved area of Ampugnani. The hamlet of Cappellini is bordered by a scenic road offering a panoramic view on the valley of century-old chestnuts. We can admire magnificent houses with roofs of slate and dressed stone, entrance doors decorated with typical Moorish statues, and an old oil mill. Lovers of local produce will be able to visit an organic chestnut flour factory.
