Situated on the slope of the mountain, Piazzole is the municipality which has the smallest surface area of Haute-Corse, but is one of the most populated in Orezza! Is said that a lack of water and an invasion of ants have led to the relocation of the Piazzole, rebuilt in the early-17^th with stones from the first village of Francolaccia.

- Annunziata church and its sculpted wooden door listed as historical monument. The legend says that this door was sculpted in 1774 with a knife by a bandit who was hidden in the bell tower.
