Quarcitellu is located on a crest at the foot of the Mount San Petrone, overlooking the village of A Porta. Its built heritage is typical of the area of Castagniccia, and its religious heritage is worth a look.

- San Ciprianu chapel, dating from the 12^th century, also listed as historical monument.
- The chapel of San Petru d'Accia on the slope of the Mount San Petrone, and some ruins all around which constitute remains of the first Corsican basilica in the 6^th century.
- The «Fiera di a Bocca di u Pratu», a fair devoted to traditional livestock farming and Corsican craft, every year endly-July in the pass of Pratu.
